Q: Do I need to have liability insurance?

A: Yes, you do! We will provide a link with all the info filled in for ACT Insurance. We have a $10 off code: imadeit10

Q: Why do I need to have liability insurance?

A: Vendor insurance is meant to protect the holder against lawsuits from third parties stemming from personal injury or property damage.

  1. Insurance protects YOU in the case that you are sued as a result of participating in an event where you are selling your wares/work. It should cover accidents, damage, and litigation.

  2. Liability insurance provides the attorney fees if you are sued. Otherwise you will be required to have representation and it will be on your own dime.

  3. Depending on your policy it could provide replacement value for lost goods due to a number of factors.

  4. It can be used for any event you participate in throughout the year and you can name additional insured based on the event if you get an annual policy.

Q: How do I acquire liability insurance?

A: There are several providers that offer one day or one weekend insurance policies. You often get a better rate or more coverage when purchasing a longer policy. If you plan to vend at more than one event during the year, consider the options. You should always call the insurance company to get the best information based on your personal needs.

Contact your own personal agent to see how they can help based on your own liability insurance.
